Vellai Kungiliyam / White Dammar

Vateria Indica Linn is the botanical name of White dammer, which is the resin of the Indian Copal tree. This tree is mostly grown in western Ghat hills above 1200 meters in height. This evergreen tree will grow up to 40 meters in height. In Ayurveda, White dammer is used to treat some health problems.
